April 5, 2019 Overview Webinar Resources

The EMS Payment Reform Work Group understands the complex political, financial, quality, patient, and provider issues involved with EMS payment reform and sustainability. Our eventual aim is to create an ecosystem where individuals, agencies, associations, and other stakeholders can join together in the interest-based negotiations process to reform future EMS healthcare reimbursement.

In the last six months, we have begun to research payment and service delivery updates to the current Medicare fee schedule for ground ambulance service. In addition, we have developed a task force charter and work group strategies, hosted three general updates and created a website to inform and engage interested stakeholders.

On Friday, April 5 at noon ET/9:00 am PT, the working group held a webinar to provide a more formal overview of our efforts to date and to provide a forum for dialogue among the national associations. Thank you to FirstWatch for sponsoring!
